First Edition
Three-Quarter Leather. Condition: Very Good-. First Edition. Attractive red leather over red cloth with gilt titles, decoration and top page edges. Cover design has the seal of Universite do France, College Stanislas. The endpaper has a bookplate indicating the presentation of the book as a prize. Some light wear to cover corners - scuffed leather. Nice quality paper with many illustrations. ; 4to 11" - 13" tall; 630 pages.

Avec de nombreuses illustrations en noir et blanc de CORMON, FLAMENG, GUILLONNET, LUMINAIS, MAIGNAN et ROCHEGROSSE. Bel exemplaire taches de rousseurs éparses mais en majorité intérieur frais, tranches dorées. Cet ouvrage fit connaître son auteur et lui donna une postérité. Godefroid Kurth (1847-1916) est un historien belge.
