Title printed in black and violet. Printed in black, red, blue, and violent ink on various tones of Ingres paper. London, Gogmagog Press. Near fine condition, in acetate wrapper. Minor crease to back pastedown, fault of production rather than later damage. Limitation page states that copies are numbered and signed; this one is numbered but not signed. A compact work in form and content. The poem recollects Cox's experiences as a civil defence rescue squad leader in WWII and follows a woman's death in a bombing raid. The paper tones shift to reflect the changing moods of the poem as Cox writes through the shock of a bombing to a peaceful rest.
