With 28 black & red "Arts & Crafts" style initial letters, each different and each featuring candlestick designs, by Thomas A. Sindelar. Red, textured cloth with gilt titling on the spine, and goldstamped designs of woodchuck & candlestick, and Rowfant Club shield design on the covers, all edges gilt. In a blue-gray paper-covered slipcase, with the number 127 in pencil on the side. Some scattered brown spotting (foxing) is present on the endpapers and to pp. [1]-[14], and similar lighter brown spotting to pp. 50-56, and to other pages. The scarce original slipcase shows browning to the paper, light edge wear. A scarce, and very attractive Rowfant Club publication, with designs by Cleveland, Ohio born artist, Thomas A. Sindelar.
