Hardcover. Condition: Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. 1983 hardcover. Fine in Very Good minus jacket. Jacket has some minor general wear and one tear at top front spine just less than an inch long. Interior is clean though there are signs of some early foxing. Best thing about this book is this: the printed dedication is to: Alison. This refers to director/writer/editor Alison Summers (who Brooks was married to at the time -- clearly always isn't necessarily always -- and now Ms Summers is ALSO the ex-wife of Peter Carey -- acrimonious divorce), and beneath that printed dedication to Alison the author has written in beautiful pen script: yes, always with his initial D. A true collectible as this was Brooks wife's own copy. First Edition. Signed by Author.
