Silas Weir Mitchell (1829-1914) was an American physician, scientist, novelist, and poet. He is considered the father of medical neurology, and he discovered causalgia and erythromelalgia. The book is bound in the original blue cloth covered boards with gold titling on the spine. The case of the book is in very good condition with some shelf wear on the boards, light bumping to the spine ends and wear to the titling on the spine. The contents are tight and clean with no inscription.
