Colour-printed softcovers (minor shelfwear, rubbing, minor rust to staples), still VG copy, from the library of George Reed Volker (1925-2018), former World War II pilot, and urban planner in California, New York, and Washington State. Early printing, of this expansive post-War urban planning study examining the impact of rising automobile ownership, and the tremendous costs of maintaining on-street parking. Sections are included on surveys for demand, formulation of parking policies, what charges for off-street public parking are reasonable, as well as even providing sample maps and surveys.
