First Edition
First deluxe editions, first impressions, of the complete Harry Potter series. Complete in seven volumes bound in cloth with color pictorial onlays, gilt edges, ribbon bookmarks, and gilt stamping. Fine. This series is one of the most sought-after versions of the beloved children's books (after the correct first editions). These books are attractively designed for collectors and had comparatively small print runs in the thousands, rather than millions of copies.

First Edition
Hardcover. Condition: As New. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Here we have a complete set of the Deluxe First Editions. All 7 books are first printings. The final 4 books are sealed in their original wrappers but can be identified as first printings due to the first edition stickers on the rear of the wrappers. These were the first books to be released that were aimed at the collector market. They are larger than their trade counterparts and are handsomely bound in cloth rather than paper boards. The pages are stunningly edged in gold gilt which is also used for the titles and J.K. Rowling's facsimile signature. The first book to be issued in this series was actually The Prisoner of Azkaban in July 1999, simultaneously with the trade edition. The deluxe editions of the first two books were issued September 1999. Thereafter the deluxe editions were published simultaneously alongside the trade editions. All 7 volumes are in pristine condition. The are unread, perfectly square with sharp corners and tight bindings. No marks at all internally or externally, a rare set to find in such condition with the final four volumes still sealed. With the first three books it is impossible to tell if they are first printings if found still sealed, which is why the perfect set will only have the final four books sealed.
