Loss of head and tail of spine with exposed binding. Ink stain to bottom right corner of front board. Gilt finishing rubbed but intact. Slight bubbling under surface of cloth. White residue on head of spine. Modestly soiled. End papers lightly foxed, free of markings. Interior lightly toned, free of known markings. Binding intact. Please see photos. An early guide measuring cubic volume of square timbers, plank measurements, round logs to inch-board measure, contents of saw logs, cubic measure of round timber, table of wages, and example of business forms such as a petition for laying out road. A valuable tool in lumber camps, log yards and the docks.
