Exemplaire provenant de la bibliothèque de Pierre André Benoit à Rivières 70 exemplaires sur Rives justifiés et signés par l'éditeur et l'illustrateur ; 26 exemplaires marqués de A à Z avec une planche en plus, 20 exemplaires HC et 4 exemplaires de montre avec la planche en plus. Signé et justifié au crayon par PAB et Alechinsky. Cette publication se détache très clairement de la production livresque de PAB en 1991 de par sa grande taille, l'originalité de sa composition typographique, son tirage plus important et le fait qu'elle a été réalisée chez Marès en photocomposition et en offset, en septembre 1991. Ce même mois, le 15, la Petite falaise illustrée d'Alechinsky, grande frise de quatre-vingt-six laves émaillées ornant le perron du Musée PAB, est inaugurée, tandis que sont projetés deux films PAB L'Enchanteur et L'Oiseau de Braque vu par PAB, réalisés par Pierre Couliboeuf. Dans le premier, on y suit notamment le processus de réalisation du livre Sommeil avec Pierre Alechinsky. Envoi soigné. Remise contre signature. Signé par l'illustrateur.
