Hard Cover. Condition: VG. Dust Jacket Condition: VG. First Edition, First Printing. 493 pgs., 6 1/4" x 9 1/4", Blue cloth with gilt title etc on spine, very light wear to extremities, INSCRIBED & SIGNED BY AUTHOR on front right endpaper, content clean, bright & tight with b/w photos, DJ has a few small closed tears at head of spine taped with clear tape, INCLUDED are 2 items: FIRST item is a handwritten letter on Ohio State Univ. stationary (5 1/2" x 81/2") dated 1/28/85 enclosed in envelope. The author reveals that he is presently finishing a book on American politics from 1869 - 1880 & that it will be in print in 2 years. SECOND item is a Ohio State Univ. envelope with reader's typed address. Signed.
