One volume is signed by the author. A set of six first edition, first impression volumes from Constable's 'Wine Library', a comprehensive history and study on the practice of making wine, looking at madeira, sherry, claret, port, hock, and mollelle.'Claret' is signed by the author.This series, which ran to a total of eight volumes, was edited by Andre L. Simon, who also authored two of the volumes in this set. Simon was a noted gourmet and wine merchant.This set contains:'Madeira', by Andre L. Simon and Elizabeth Craig, published 1933.'Sherry', by H. Warner Allen, published in 1933. Illustrated with a folding map.'Claret', by Maurice Healy, published in 1934. Signed by the author to the recto of the front endpaper, "Dear Master Wright, I seek, not to instruct, but to amuse you! Maurice Healy, May 1939". Two pages of adverts to the rear.'Wine in the Kitchen', by Elizabeth Craig, published in 1934.'Port' by Andre L. Simon, published in 1934.
