Light age-toning around cover perimeters (beneath dustwrapper); light, uniform age-toning to text pages; lower left rear cover corner lightly bumped, leaving small ripples to board surface, yet remains essentially sharp, like other corners. Looks little read, if at all: Tight binding (NO cracks); NO previous owner names; NO rubbing wear but for hint at spine ends, outside reach of dustwrapper: dustwrapper (Good-) did its job. Orange dustwrapper not price-clipped ($3.00) with Title lettering, Author name and Publisher name lettering all in white across top, middle and bottom front cover, respectively; spine lightly sunned (diminished orange with all lettering in white still sharp and eminently readable); some wear at cover corners and across spine ends; piece missing at lower rear cover edge near bottom left corner (7/8" x 1/4"0; piece missing at top left front cover1 3/4" x 3/8"); 6 closed tears along top front cover edge and 2 such on rear cover top edge: now backed with Archival tape and dw within Brodart mylar, which graciously forgives all sins. The way to read a Classic Philosophy of Science text, more than 80 years old, by a distinguished Philosopher.
