Leather. Condition: Good +. 5th American, from the Ninth London. 2 volume set, complete. A Good + set. 8vo., [Vol.1] 612; [Vol.2] 640 pp., illustrated with tables and charts. Bound in full leather. The spines were flaking and rubbed (from leather rot, now arrested). Moderate edge wear, small loss at volume 2's crown. Text age-toning and foxed. Previous owner's names in both volumes, with a note of gift dated 1896. Other names dated 1833. Leather has been treated and polished recently. Fifth American, from the Ninth London edition.
