Condition: Fine. First Edition. 26.5 x 30.5 cm. 14 leaves loose in portfolio in numbered black slipcase. Limited to 1150 copies of which this is copy 306/850 which is signed by the artist CPLY (William N. Copley) on the colophon. 12 vibrate color reproductions of watercolor illustrations by CPLY and brief captions tell a humorous tale of the artist's life beginning with "Against my better judgement I am brought into this world" Nice copy of this uncommon artist's book. "To his great distinction, his [CPLY's] paintings are like no other paintings in the world." - pop artist Edward Ruscha. Oblong Portfolio with marbled black and blue design in the style of a composition notebook. Signed.
