Defending his dog to his friends, Bill boasts that Judge has been chosen by the Army as a War Dog, he immediately regrets the lie but feels he now has to make good on it and offer Judge up to the military for the war effort. This volume is richly illustrated throughout by by the famous Morgan Dennis. It features a pictorial hardcover cloth binding with a beautiful Morgan Dennis illustration of young boy with Airedale dog on the cover.The volume is in good condition and the binding is tight.
