Sold to us by a dealer in far Cornwall who worried "The book was purchased as part of a lot of a hundred or so signed books at a specialist auction, but no mention was made of this book, although if genuine it would have been the lead item. There is the chance that it is genuine and the auction cataloger was not aware that Robert Galbraith is J.K. Rowling." Signature, which has bled slightly into the title page, looks to us like a good match for others Online and in our possession (we also offer a signed "Career of Evil"), but please examine scans. This first detective mystery in the Cormoran Strike series was well-reviewed when first released under the Galbraith nom de plume, though the secret of authorship by the creator of the Harry Potter series lasted only some weeks, and later printings (including this one) reveal to both jacket flaps "Robert Galbraith is a pseudonym for J.K.
