Hardcover. Condition: Very Good. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine. Copyright page states "First published in Great Britain in 2013 by Sphere / Reprinted 2013 (three times)" Not price clipped; original L16.99 price showing. Corners show minor bumps and the spine is rolled a bit less than 1/4-inch -- was probably stored on its side, at some point. Sold to us by a dealer in far Cornwall who worried "The book was purchased as part of a lot of a hundred or so signed books at a specialist auction, but no mention was made of this book, although if genuine it would have been the lead item. There is the chance that it is genuine and the auction cataloger was not aware that Robert Galbraith is J.K. Rowling." Signature, which has bled slightly into the title page, looks to us like a good match for others Online and in our possession (we also offer a signed "Career of Evil"), but please examine scans. This first detective mystery in the Cormoran Strike series was well-reviewed when first released under the Galbraith nom de plume, though the secret of authorship by the creator of the Harry Potter series lasted only some weeks, and later printings (including this one) reveal to both jacket flaps "Robert Galbraith is a pseudonym for J.K. Rowling." Mystery. 449 pp. Now reduced from $2,200. Signed by Author(s).

All books are in outstanding, unread condition without any internal marks or ownership inscriptions and near perfect dust jackets. All are signed as Robert Galbraith by J.K. Rowling and books that are supposed to have the hologram, do so. All seven books came from Adam Houston's personal collection. Adam 'the Harry Potter Specialist' is the world's leading handwriting and signature expert for J.K. Rowling. He bought five of the seven books directly from the original owners, all five of which come with Provenance such as handwritten notes, receipts, emails, etc all detailing the books original purchase. Adam took care putting this set together, only purchasing near prefect unread signed books he could be sure were authentic to the best of his knowledge. Cuckoo's Calling, published by Sphere in 2013 is the first book in the series and was published without it being known that Robert Galbraith was actually the pseudonym for J.K. Rowling. This book is one of the original 250 that were sent out to J.K. Rowling to be signed and the sold by Goldsboro Books. Troubled Blood is the fifth book in the series to be published by Sphere in 2020. This along with the Cuckoos Calling are the two most valuable books in the overall set. A near pristine copy, with hologram and the only book to be signed in thick black sharpie. This is the style of pen it seems she used to sign the majority of this particular title. This was another copy won in a competition, this time on Facebook on December 22nd 2020. The provenance included shows a printout of the Facebook page congratulating the winner Megan Krippner as well as a handwritten note from the bookstore itself, Hachette, New Zealand. The Ink Black Heart is the sixth book to be published by Sphere in 2022. Another near patine copy with a 'signed by the author. sticker present to the front of the dust jacket.
