Morg. f." and titled and "No.29" in the plate, (1769), framed under glass (42 x 49,5 cm.). = Plate 29 from the series Le antichita di Pozzuoli, Baja e Cuma , incise in rame e pubblicate da Filippo Morghen (Naples, 1769). Nicely framed in a nice 19th century frame under old glass. Filippo Morghen (1730-1807) was an Italian engraver and painter active in Naples. He is remembered for his archaeological and imaginative prints and was the father of engraver Raphael Morghen. General age-related toning and occasional minor flaws.
