Revised Edition- a printed stamp states that the book was printed in Austria. Father Lenz, an Austrian Catholic priest, was imprisoned in Dachau from 1940 to 1945- and this is his story. About 2,600 clerymen were imprisoned in Dachau, from 134 dioceses and 24 nations, with about 1,034 being killed. Laid-in is a copy of a promotional letter from Lenz about the book. Signed by Father Lenz on the front endpaper, above his ink stamp that reads: "Many especially greetings from Rev. Father J.M. Lenz. God bless you!"
