SIGNED by the artist, Dan Dailey, in ink and with an elaborate drawing on tan paper page facing the title-page. Inscribed warmly and dated 1987. Also signed on the title-page. The drawing is of the artist…at his drawing board sketching a self portrait drawing what appears to be an ancient Greek vase form: the kylix. Otherwise completely clean. This monograph was prepared to accompany the exhibition at the Rosenwald-Wolf Gallery in Philadelphia. The exhibition then traveled to The Renwick Gallery in Washington, D. C. Essays by Henry Geldzahler and William Warmus. Checklist. Exhibition history. Numerous full-page color plates + black & white drawings of the pieces. 12" high X 9" wide, 63 pages.
