    Hardcover. Condition: Near Fine. Dust Jacket Condition: Very Good. 1st Edition. With illustrations by F. H. Townsend. Near fine, first issue, first printing book in very good dust jacket. With imprint on p. 80 reading "Bemrose Dalziel Ltd.", 80 leaves and so paged. 15 colored illustrations with tissues (the tissue for the frontispiece is torn but intact). A reasonably bright copy in original gilt decorated white cloth. Spine is lightly sunned. Age-toning to external edges and internal margins, else book is clean and text block is snug. Original dust jacket is lightly soiled and with stains on the front panel; also sunned in general and more heavily on the edges, folds and spine. Variously chipped and cracked with pieces missing at spine extremities, toward the lower end of spine, along the top edge of back panel, and lower right front fore-edge corner. Several small chips along upper and lower edges. Please use close-up options for best inspection and in support of condition description. Additional photos available at your request.
