A torrid romance set on a farm in Rhodesia where the author had herself lived before her marriage in 1922. Her sister was the Scottish poet and gardening writer Muriel Stuart. Presumably a family related copy as back endpaper is in scribed: "Vivian, Dolcoath Road, Camborne". No other inscriptions but page edges slightly tanned and some internal foxing.
