Soft Cover. Condition: Very Good +. No Jacket. First French Edition. This is the first French edition of "Darker Than Amber". Translated from the English to the French by N. Shklar. 185 pp. Light crease to top edge of back panel. Inscribed and signed by the author to an American businessman. Text in French. Inscribed and Signed. Paperback.

Hard Cover. Condition: Fair+. Dust Jacket Condition: Good+. SIGNED by JDM on a bookplate affixed to dedication page (signature only). Ex-Lib copy, used, with usual defects; tape residue on boards; spine slant; scrape at spine top; card holder and decal on front end page; one stamping number (on title page). First US hardcover Edition/1st Printing with all 1st printing points: states '1970' on title page, the date code '470' (April 1970) at top of front flap of dust wrapper and price of $4.95 at bottom of front flap. DJ rubbed and has sunning at spine and chips at spine ends; mylar protected. Hardest of JDM hardcovers to locate, abeit this is ex-lib copy. 1st printiing copies are rather scarce in any condition.
