730 pp. 8vo, original decorated cloth. First edition. A very good copy, tight and sound, with some fraying of the cloth at extremities.

Hardcover. Condition: Fine. No Jacket. 1st Edition. Reddish-brown hardcover with matching text on gold background. In wonderful condition. Appears as it is an older book, but there are no notable defects. Cover is slightly loose when opening, but doesn't have any sort of tears. 750 pages.

Decorative Hard Cover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Illustrated (illustrator). First Edition. Brown cloth binding. Spine has gold colored print and title box: print and intricate leaf pattern in black. Cover has narrow black edge bands, Impressed printing of titles and a floral design, a gold colored title box with black print and a gold colored circlet with portrait of Martha Washington in it. There appears to be some light reddish stain over portion of the cover. Rear cover has blind stamped edge bands. Rear cover is also heavily scratched. Heavy rubwear at corner tips and spine ends and edges. There are fox spots through out book but heaviest at end papers. Frontispiece has water stain on upper portion. No. tissue. Front fly has owner signature and year in ink. Contents list notable women achievers in history and then in various current fields, such as literature, inventors, medicine, et.cetra. 730 pages including index.Lot of wear on binding but Text block very solid.
