David Wayne- AUTOGRAPH, written in red ink on a 4 1/2" x 3" piece of paper and dated 4/11/1968 the evening of his performance in the hit musical, The Happy Time, (for which he was nominated as Best Actor, Musical)The Happy Time ran January 18 â" September 28, 1968 Together with the ticket stub from the show at the Broadway Theatre, New York City, NYFamously, David Wayne played the MadHatter, supervillain, arch adversary of Batman in the comic books published by DC Comics amd in the 1960s television series Batman Batman (1966, guest villain, episodes 13, 14, 35, 36) as The Mad Hatter, as one of the Rogues Gallery recurring villains Mad Hatter is depicted as a scientist who invents and uses technological mind-controlling devices to influence and manipulate the minds of his victims.
