Hardcover. Condition: Good. No Jacket. Hardcover, edition unknown. This book is in good condition - ghost of pencil price on ffep; stamped or printed on inside of back cover is: 'This volume is supplied for sale in the Dominions only'. spine slanted; spine faded; wear to top and bottom of spine; edges a little dirty; light spotting to first and last pages.

Undated first edition from 1929. Last title in listings is, The House on Tollard Ridge. Peril at Cranbury Hall from 1930 is not listed. Good copy. Red cloth boards are soiled and stained and spine is faded, (see scan). Internally the book is a sound Very Good. The pages are clean throughout with no marks, rips, tears or writing. There is an oval stamp on the fep of the original bookseller, but there are no signatures or inscriptions. The book comes with a facsimile copy of the original first edition dustjacket, which is wrapped in a brodart protector.
