A first edition, first printing of 'The Day of the Jackal' published by Hutchinson in 1971 - stated 'First published 1971'. A near fine book (light spotting to the page edges) with one small name and date to the head of the front endpaper. SIGNED 'All best wishes from Frederick Forsyth 2024' to the title page. In a very good unc…lipped wrapper which has a little rubbing to the edges and spine tips and one closed tear (repaired) to the bottom of the rear panel. The book was signed within a year of the Author's passing and is scarce thus.
