A faint sticker shadow ( from a small price tag) on the free front endpaper else the book is FINE in FINE jacket. Laid in is an card illustrated with an Edward Gorey cartoon, written in the author's distinctive hand,dated Oct. 18 , 1985. The letter is to friends thanking them for a "lovely" evening and inviting them to visit "Chez Haszard" on Virgin Gorda, BVI. and signed "Penny". Patricia Moyes Haszard is the author's married name. Envelope , again addressed in the author's hand, and card are FINE. A very pleasing bit of ephemera to accompany the author's first book. Signed by Author(s).
