Soft cover. 1st Edition. Full issue offered, lacking rear cover. Disbound, pages loose, with spine perished. First edition of Peirce's "Description of a Notation for the Logic of Relatives" in Memoirs of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, following its issue as an offprint in 1870. Holes punched in left margin where string had been previously used to bind. Contents of Peirce's paper (pp. 317-378) partially uncut and still bright and sharp. Price reflects condition.
