First Edition. Signed and inscribed by Cushing at front endpaper. Three act play and fantastic comedy of Greek Bandits who capture an American family and a magical piece of cheese that allows the eater to see into other people's minds. The play opened at the Charles Hopkins Theatre in New York City starring Frederick March and Bela Lugosi. Illustrated with photographic scenes from the play including Lugosi, who would become a star for his performance in Dracula a year later. Very Good, some rubbing to cloth at spine ends, lacking dustjacket.

Illustrated from black and white photographs from scenes from the play performed December 29, 1926 at the Charles Hopkins Theatre in New York City starring Bela Lugosi and Frederick March. Page edges lightly soiled and foxed, spine darkened and mildly cocked, very good being Barrett H. Cark's copy with his name penciled on the front pastedown, lacking the scarce dust jacket. Inscribed by the author "With cordial greetings from Tom Cushing, May 1932." Barrett H. Clark was an exceptionally important figure in modern American drama, aside from authoring many books, he served as the longtime literary editor for the publisher Samuel French.
