The Devil's Alternative, Frederick Forsyth, Hutchinson, 1979, First Edition, First Impression The author's fourth full-length novel. The book is in near fine condition. The binding is straight and tight, the boards clean and the lettering on the spine bright. There is a crease mark to the top corner of the front board, shelf wear to the top and bottom edges of the spine and a crease mark to the bottom corner of the back board. The end papers and pages are free from tears and inscriptions. There are marks to the top edge. The unclipped dust jacket is in very good condition with shelf wear to the top edge of the spine and nibbling to the top edge of the back cover. Will be dispatched carefully wrapped in bubblewrap and a cardboard box.
