Manuscript / Paper Collectible
Advertising booklet promoting oil colors by Devoe & Raynolds Co., Inc., manufacturer of paints, stains, inks, enamels, and pigments. Includes a large color wheel, and a lengthy discussion of color theory (e.g. elementary color, warm versus cool, complementary color, etc.). Promotes six pigmented oil colors by the company in the rear, without pricing, interestingly. Single vol. (9" by 6"), pp. 14, [2], illus., stapled in original printed wrps. with seal of company on cover depicting Native American. Very good to near-fine. Some spotting. Pencil trials to upper cover.
