Reliure en demi maroquin marine à coins, dos très légèrement décoloré à cinq nerfs, encadremet de filets dorés sur les plats de papier marbré, gardes et contreplats de papier à la cuve, tête dorée. Ouvrage illustré de 14 gravures dessinées sur bois par Paul Philippoteaux. Agréable exemplaire quasi exempt de rousseur. | [ENGLISH DESCRIPTION FOLLOWS] First edition, one of the rare copies on China paper of which no mention is made. Half navy blue morocco with corners binding, spine very lightly faded with five raised bands, gilt fillet frame on marbled paper boards, marbled endpapers and pastedowns, top edge gilt. Work illustrated with 14 wood engravings drawn by Paul Philippoteaux. Handsome copy almost entirely free from foxing. *.
