26x21 cm. Fully hand-colored print in very good condition to near fine condition. This is a print satirizing Queen Caroline's (Princess Caroline of Brunswick-Wolfenbüttel, estranged wife of King George IV) relationship with Bartolomeo Pergami. The print depicts Caroline sitting at a table with Pergami with a soldier, believed to be SIr Samuel John Brooke Pechell, standing and speaking to them. Caroline died in August, 1821, 2 months after this cartoon appeared. 2 lines of text at the bottom. Published by G. Humphrey, 27 St. James's St., June 7, 1821.
