Als Dissertation ein Sonderfall, nicht nur wegen des Themas: Geschlechtsorgane und Geschlechtssekrete der Tausendfüßler (speziell der Chilognathen und. Chilopoden), auch durch das Fehlen des üblichen Praeses (wohl Beweis einer ganz eigenständigen Arbeit), stattdessen 3 Adversarii (J. Muenter, H. Wachsmuth, C. Bischoff); schließlich durch die luxuriöse Ausstattung: starkes, breitrandiges Papier; die Abbildungen in bis zu 450facher Vergrößerung. Die Arbeit ist seinem patri optimo: Carolo Guilielmo Stein nec non Joan. Henrico Deinhardt gewidmet, der vermutlich den Druck finanzierte. Seiten 53 und 54 mit ausführlicher Vita mit Nennung vieler akademischer Lehrer aus fast allen Gebieten.
