    no binding. Condition: very good. Exquisite 1850s Steel Engraving - Beautiful Antique Print Artist: n/a - Engraver: n/a Published by J. & F. Tallis - London, Edinburgh & Dublin Schenectady city, seat (1809) of Schenectady county, east-central New York, U.S., on the Mohawk River and New York State Canal System. With Albany and Troy, it forms an urban-industrial complex. A beautiful elaborate celtic like fleur de lis scrollwork decorative border surrounds the image, typical of a John Tallis type production. 2 little vignettes adorn the image at bottom, one on the left which depicts STRICKLANDS PLAIN. 1646. The right vignette depicts FRONTIGNAC'S BARBARITIES. Approximate Overall Size with margins: 7 X 10 1/2 inches CONDITION: Very Good Condition. Image is clean, clear and sharp with beautiful detail and in Very Good Condition. Blank on Reverse side and printed heavier paper. This beautiful print would look great matted and framed.
