Letter in which Benny approves and authorizes the use of his name in the short subject film "Calling All Kids" wherein "Our Gang" and Buckwheat impersonate Rochester talking to Mr. Benny. Interesting that no compensation was to be paid to Benny in connection with the use of his name and he released all claims and demands of any kind and character in connection with the use of his name. "Calling All Kids" released in 1943, directed and written by Sam Baerwitz. The Our Gang kids salute the armes forces in the stage show. Running 11 minutes with credits as "Eddie 'Rochester' Anderson as Buckwheat; Robert Blake as Mickey; Janet Burston as Jante; Mark Daniels as NBC radio announcer; Billy 'Froggy' Laughlin as Froggy; and Billie "Buckwheat' Thomas as Buckwheat.".
