    No Binding. Condition: Very Good. ("Edward Heyman") in black fountain pen ink as author on Assignment of Canadian Copyright form. 8 1/4" x 13 3/8"; November, 1933. Very good. Rare thus. Canadian copyright assignment with T. B. Harms Company for their composition "My First Love." Also signed by Francis K. Shuman as composer. Heyman (1907-1981) was an important lyricist of 30's and 40's; scores for Broadway shows and movies; best known songs "You Ought Be in Pictures;" "Bluebird of Happiness;" first big hit "Body and Soul" 1930; in collaboration with other lyricists and composer Johnny Green. Numerous hits during 1930's. Wrote for productions at Radio City Music Hall in New York. Inducted in Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1975. Signed by Author(s).
