Some wear and soiling. Ink inscription at top inside cover. Tape repair internally. Bottom of first leaf has chipped "foot." High quality of chromolithography of covers and illustrations is characteristic of McLoughlin picture books published between ca. 1884 and 1900. Probably by Grace C. Floyd. Another shaped book, Dolly's adventures, is attributed to her in NUC.
