No Binding. Condition: Very Good. John Wallis (Ludgate Street No. 16), London, 1785. Engraving. A large broadside ballad, a one-page piece of sheet music measuring 10.25 x 13.5 inches (about 26 x.33.4 cm.). The song is a seven-stanza ditty about a prank played on two London men - both of them blind - busking for coins near Bedlam (Bethlehem Royal Hospital). Publisher John Wallis was one of the foremost London printers of board games in the late 18th century. He was also known for maps, playing cards, broadsides and satirical prints. Very good condition with wrinkles, an old horizontal fold, creases at head, some general soiling. Free of tears or chips.
