The arrival of rich brother Digger back from Australia is a part of the conclusion. Cover is stained, and firs.

Condition: Good. 1945. First Edition. Unpaginated. Pictorial dust jacket over green cloth with gilt lettering and imagery. Colour illustrated plates. Minor foxing and subtle tanning to pages and plates. Noticeably more prominent to text block edges, pastedowns and free endpapers. Pen inscription to front free endpaper. Binding remains firm. Boards have minor corner bumping and edgewear with mild mottling, tanning and staining overall. Spine has lighter tanning with soft crushing to ends. Lettering remains bright and clear. Unclipped dust jacket with moderate rubbing, chipping and tearing to edges. Moderate tanning and scuffing overall.

2nd impression green cloth hardcover with gilt titles. No dj. 47p. with 12 full page col. plates by the author. Spots to covers, inscription on endpaper, binding loose but intact.
