Hardback. No date listed, but looks to be Circa late1800's. No dustjacket. Maroon covers with gold gilt lettering and design. A copy that will need to be rebound, as spine is not present, and covers are separated. No standard title page is present, though the book appears to have been published without one, as there is no evidence of a missing page. Slight wear and chipping to front and back blue endpapers, and very light moisture to the front edge of the books interior pages, along with some foxing. Bound with black and white illustrations on every other page opposite text. Two blank white pages separate every two pages of text, as published. Interior pages are tight, and still securely sewn, with signatures intact. An interesting piece of obscura for the binder or collector. Rebound, would be a nice presentation copy of a very scarce book.
