This is a 1935 dated antique 8" x 6" hand signed and professionally created caricature photographic art comic souvenir of (what I think is Georgio Bassani?Italiab book author) depicated as Cesare?Borgia?in?Caesar Borgia, Son Of Pope Alexander The Sixth is a 1679 tragedy by the English writer Nathaniel Lee. It was first staged at the Dorset Garden Theatre by the Duke's Company. The prologue was provided by John Dryden.? I cannot verify this the book author but his appearance on the photo indicates this as does the era and signing.? Whilst a little aged and small places is graded very good condition (vg).??
