Pages are moderately tanned with visible foxing throughout. Heavy cracking to hinges, causing boards to be loose. Slight crinkling to paper at gutters, however binding remains firm. Illustrations and plates are moderately tanned with some foxing. Previous owner's inscription to front pastedown. Boards have visible edge wear with corner bumping. Moderate tanning to spine and edges with some crushing to spine ends. Heavy black marks with mottling to all surfaces.
