Bound in black cloth over boards with white lettering on the spine. Solid, square, with sharp corners, and a red 'x' on the bottom edge, else fine. Deckled long edge. Shadow from a former price sticker on ffep but no residue and otherwise internally clean, clear, crisp and with a tight spine. Pages:192 Dimensions:8(3/8) x 5¾ x (13/16).

The boards have a little bumping at the top and bottom of the spine and to the corners on the rear panel. The page edges are browned and there is browning around the edges of the half-title page and the final page of the text. Small bookstore label to the bottom corner of the rear pastedown. The pages have an odour - probably from a smoker's home - but are otherwise clean and unmarked. The jacket has some browning to the spine and a small brown spot on the rear panel.
