The 24th March was the day of a reception on board the boat. The inscription reads: "To Etienne What a fantastic monument, wasn't it? Sam Morely". The memoir of the legendary 'Lady in White' who sang her welcome to wartime ships as they arrived in Durban harbour is in general good, happy condition. The dustjacket has very general user wear to the seams and edges. It is secure and assured. The cover has some mild shelving wear and is tight and healthy.
