Includes 40 pages of Yaqui to English "Easter Sermon" with line-by-line translations. This sermon was delivered by Ignacio Alvarez in the afternoon of Easter Sunday in 1941. According to the text, it was recorded by John Green of the General Records Corporation, "with the full cooperation of the residents of Pascua." The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is a federally recognized sovereign nation based in Tucson, Arizona, with over 19,000 members known as "The Unconquered Tribe." (wikipedia) .
