In a quarter morocco binding, with marbled paper covered boards, and gilt detailing to back strip. Rubbing to back strip head and tail and joints, with head of rear joint and tail of front joint starting, and boards firmly held. Internally, firmly bound. Pages bright, with instances of foxing and spotting throughout. Good. book.

Boards and most of spine present. 3 large volumes have chips to spines and back boards are partly split. All volumes have scattered foxing more to fronts and rears. Some plates have none at all. Text volume has 770 pages +XXXI pages. The 3 folio volumes have 354 plates and are complete. Very heavy 70 lbs.
