Card measures 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"; paper measures 7 1/2" x 10 1/4." Card reads: "Autograph of Edward Eggleston." Card, paper, and signature are very clean and undamaged. Edward Eggleston (1837-1902) was an American novelist and historian noted for his Hoosier book series. Eggleston was also ordained as a Methodist minister in 1856. Signed by Author(s).

No Binding. Condition: Very Good. American author Edward Eggleston (1837-1902) wrote and signed the quotation "Reflect on the value of time" on this 7" x 4 1/2" sheet of plain stationery. Eggleston is known for writing the "Hoosier" series, including The Hoosier Schoolmaster, A Story of Backwoods Life in Indiana (1871), which are noted for their realistic depictions of 19th century American rural life. Condition: Fold lines, mounting remnants on verso, otherwise very good condition. Signed by Author(s).
