No Binding. Condition: Collectible-Fine. Signature on pink card by Edward Eggleston in black ink. Card adhered to beige paper. No date, circa 1860s-1890s. Card measures 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"; paper measures 7 1/2" x 10 1/4." Card reads: "Autograph of Edward Eggleston." Card, paper, and signature are very clean and undamaged. Edward Eggleston (1837-1902) was an American novelist and historian noted for his Hoosier book series. Eggleston was also ordained as a Methodist minister in 1856. Signed by Author(s).

E., apologizing to the sender for not answering her letter, and thanking her for her kind words. Unique. Inscribed by Author(s).

No Binding. Condition: Very Good. American author Edward Eggleston (1837-1902) wrote and signed the quotation "Reflect on the value of time" on this 7" x 4 1/2" sheet of plain stationery. Eggleston is known for writing the "Hoosier" series, including The Hoosier Schoolmaster, A Story of Backwoods Life in Indiana (1871), which are noted for their realistic depictions of 19th century American rural life. Condition: Fold lines, mounting remnants on verso, otherwise very good condition. Signed by Author(s).
