First printing, this republication of Lear's 1851 journal. 222 pp., 20 colour lithograph plates, maps, tall octavo format in orange cloth, dust jacket. Text is Nearly Fine. Only real flaw is some tape shadowing to the front free endpaper where the original owner attached a small gift card (laid in the book). Dust jacket is not price-clipped, no tears. A superb Nearly Fine/Nearly Fine copy.
