Paperback. Condition: As New. New. The pages of this book unfold the remarkable potential of an industry called MICE (Meetings Incentives Conferences Exhibitions). A chronicle on the travails of an Indian MICE professional and a haunting that changes his life in the course of the eight days of narration. Sense the gripping tension that underscores the narrative and the scathing insight that it offers. The profound catharsis of the amalgamation of the narrator's identity with the industry's outcry is ironically highlighted by the editorial treatment of the book as coffee table read. A must read for all associated with the industry. 114 pp.

No Binding. Condition: Near Fine. 1st Edition. Hand-coloured engraving from F. J. Bertuch's Bilderbuch Fur Kinder, Vol II. No. 96. Weimar: Bertuch, 1795. The book was a sort of child's illustrated encyclopedia. Quadruped XLVIII, plate (25cm x 20cm), with narrow margins (as apparently usual). Eight varieties of small rodent-- 'mause' or 'souris'-- are represented in finely detailed coloured engravings, including the handsome Norwegische Lemming and several rather specialized creatures, such as the ring-necked Souris d'Iris (Mus Lagurus. Pall.), a resident of eastern Siberia, which, as the French text has it, ". elle se nourrit principalement des oignons de l'iris sauvage." Includes, separately, two pages of description, one in French and one in German.
